*[Review] Argan Dew: Replenishing hair mask

Hello my lovelies! 
Winter is the time of year when nasty bugs and viruses come out in their swarms and make people sick.. and I was unfortunate to have been sick the last week, hence the delay in post!

Anywho, I don't know if any of you have heard of Argan Dew but they do really amazing products for hair! They sent me out 4 samples: 2 Miraculous Argan oil daily hair treatment and 2 Replenishing hair mask

Sounds stupid but I've been trying to find the right time to use them! Because I feel like it'd be a waste of these awesome products if I use them and then am just cycling and working and exercising the next day... Kinda want to show off my awesome hair ya know? haha

So, so far I've only used the hair mask once and I have to say I'm really impressed! I would describe my hair as healthy, shiny and soft, so most hair products I use just keeps it that way. That's why I was so surprised after I used the hair mask that it felt unbelievably softer than what I was used to! Couldn't help but stroke my hair for a while! hahaha

- Extremely easy to use
- makes hair feel super soft
- makes hair feel silky 
- you hair will feel simply amazing

- can't think of any!

It is a little pricey though at 35e ($44) for 250ml, but if you want your hair super soft, silky and amazing then it is worth it! You do get what you pay for! 

Would you recommend this product? YES!

Now I have yet to try the daily hair treatment.. but I think I will do it over the weekend!

[Fitness] Let's get toning week #3 Update!!


So I apologize I totally forgot to do update last week I so busy with everything so here is two updates in one go!!

I'm gona be honest and say I was a little bit bold... because I was so busy I didn't manage to do exercise everyday this week! But I have done lots of cycling around lugging a guitar around as well as lots of walking! haha.

Also, weather has been super unpredictable so the colour of photos are slightly different due to different levels of sunlight!

One more week of this 30 day challenge! Let's see how it'll turn out! hahaha

[Review] HealGel Eye


So if you remember back in April this year I did a review on the packaging for HealGel Eye and never managed to get to write a review of the actual product itself due to unforeseen circumstances! Well... HERE IT IS!

After using it for over a month now, I can tell you guys how I felt about this product! I'll always remembered that time before I ever started using any eye creams/gels, the skin under my eyes were quite dry so one day when I went to visit my cousin, she said I look like I'm in my 30s. Shocked I was and she pointed out all the lines under my eyes and I was so self conscious after that! 

So, what did I learn? That dry skin is a definitely a BIG no no if you want to prevent wrinkles/fine lines! Because when your skin is dry it creases easily, especially under the eyes because the skin there is so thin. When that is prolonged then that's one way how wrinkles and fine lines form and stay. So it's VERY important to keep it moisturized!!

 The skin under the eyes are so sensitive and thin so this gel is lovely and moisturizing for it and it's also easily absorbed! I noticed that it does make my eyes feel refreshed and a great thing about it is it's not greasy at all!
Also I have noticed that my eyes are AS puffy as they used to be before I used the gel so that's definitely a plus!
HealGel Eye is super easy to use and the packaging of the container makes it very hygenic as unlike the tub containers (where you constantly dipping your fingers in), bacteria can't get to the gel. 
When applying the gel make sure you don't rub it in! Gently spread it onto you skin using your ring finger and then once it's evenly spread, dab it gently around the skin until it's all absorbed.
Also to those who are vegans, it's vegan friendly! Contains no animal products! :P

Now, I don't know if it's just because I don't have much or any wrinkles, but I haven't seen much difference in my "fine lines" under my eyes.. (I quote, because apparently I'm the only one who notices it where as everyone else says I've not a wrinkle on my face!) Now, it could be preventing any further "fine lines" by keeping my eyes moisturized! 

So to be honest, there really isn't a REAL con to write on this product!

[Fitness] Let's get toning week #1 Update!!

Hello to you all in the blogging world!

So as I mentioned in last weeks post (click here if you haven't read it), I am doing a little challenge for myself to tone up after losing some weight. I am currently still 52kg and I am seeing some minor results from the change in diet and more exercise! haha.

Here are two pictures of my abs (which I am trying to tone up). I have not edited them in anyway, apart from putting them together into one image side by side. 

I am trying hard to not eat processed foods like bread, biscuits, pasta, etc. because I find that when I eat them, I get really bloaty and full. Also because it's not really good for your health either.

I am eating more fresh fruits and vegetables, and I rarely drink milk tea or coffee these days, I'm a green tea lover now :P

I am doing these ab exercises, as well as cycling everyday for 1 hour..

Sometimes if I feel super motivated, I will add an extra 10-20 to each of the exercises!

[Fitness] Let's get toning!!

Hello my beauties!

So who said getting fit and losing weight is just for summer? I know a lot of people who let themselves go over the winter because it's the time of year where you cover everything up (well in the northern Hemisphere anyways!) 

What better than to start the month off doing another 30 day challenge? Hahaha. Like I always say, it's ONLY 30 days of your whole life so it's not that long to commit to!

As some of you know I've done 2 of these sort of challenges before but I haven't actually posted results of the challenges, due to not blogging for a while! But I'll let you know now that the challenges were success and great! 

A little about myself first: I am 5'6" and weighed 58kg at the start of this year. I wasn't over weight or anything but I never really liked how I looked. I know.. I'm a lil crazy some might say. So I began to try lose some fat around my waist, thighs and arms and keeping fit! I did my 30 days challenge and managed to drop to 54kg over the summer. I kept up some of the stuff like cycling to work almost every day, snacking less, more fruit and veg, as well as eating smaller portions. Everyday I start my morning with warm water with a slice of lemon to kickstart my metabolism and I rarely drink milk tea or coffee anymore, instead I drink green tea! 

My goal weight from years ago was 50kg but over the space of 10 years I've never managed to hit that goal. Only 2 months ago, I somehow managed to hit that goal and actually went to down to 49kg! I had no idea what happened (think it was because I was actually a little sick for a week or two) but I was shocked. Everyone I knew told me I looked sickly skinny (not something I had aimed for) so I began to eat a little more to gain some weight back! Now I am a healthy 52kg.

Now back to the point of this post! I've always wanted to have defined and toned abs (but not the body builder steroid kind!), so lets try this out for 30 days and see how it goes! My goal is to have something similar to the photos you see above and below:

I'll keep everyone updated (with photos) every week on Sunday to let you know how I am getting on!

On top of this I will also be cycling as a mode of transport and doing some other little exercises with weights :)
