Funky fun spring outfit

Hello fellow bloggers!

Today I bring to you another outfit post!

So I recently did a photoshoot with the super talented Ashley Noel (@ashleynoelmua on Instagram)! She's a hair stylist, makeup artist AND fashion stylist! I absolutely love this look, so funky and hipster! The backpack makes me feel like a kid again! If you know me personally you'd know I would never wear these combination of clothes but after this shoot I might just try it out!

So from what I gathered from Ashley here is where she got the items:
- Penny's: backpack, glasses (painted white with nail polish), metallic sheer nail polish from essence, necklace
- H&M: shoes, white dress
- Claires accessorize: White nail polish

The fur coat was borrowed from a friend!

What do you guys think of this look? Would you wear this kind of combination for spring?
I'd love to know!

*[Review] Argan Dew: Replenishing hair mask

Hello my lovelies!
Winter is the time of year when nasty bugs and viruses come out in their swarms and make people sick.. and I was unfortunate to have been sick the last week, hence the delay in post!

Anywho, I don't know if any of you have heard of Argan Dew but they do really amazing products for hair! They sent me out 4 samples: 2 Miraculous Argan oil daily hair treatment and 2 Replenishing hair mask

Sounds stupid but I've been trying to find the right time to use them! Because I feel like it'd be a waste of these awesome products if I use them and then am just cycling and working and exercising the next day... Kinda want to show off my awesome hair ya know? haha

So, so far I've only used the hair mask once and I have to say I'm really impressed! I would describe my hair as healthy, shiny and soft, so most hair products I use just keeps it that way. That's why I was so surprised after I used the hair mask that it felt unbelievably softer than what I was used to! Couldn't help but stroke my hair for a while! hahaha

Pros:
- Extremely easy to use
- makes hair feel super soft
- makes hair feel silky
- you hair will feel simply amazing

Cons:
- can't think of any!

It is a little pricey though at 35e ($44) for 250ml, but if you want your hair super soft, silky and amazing then it is worth it! You do get what you pay for!

Would you recommend this product? YES!

Now I have yet to try the daily hair treatment.. but I think I will do it over the weekend!

So look out for the review of this product next week!

Have anyone tried these products yet??

Have a wonderful Thursday!
Lots of love,
Eneshai

[Review]SteamCream Limited Edition Hoàn Kiêm

Hello my fellow bloggers! So sorry for the delay in posts, I've been super busy the last few days and finally have time to sit down and write!

So just to update you, I'm leaving my work in the Montessori so I've applied to a few places and received a call from 2 of them inviting me in for an interview. One of them is for Brown Thomas and the other is TV3. So today and tomorrow are important days!! Fingers crossed one of them will call back with good news!

Now to the main part! :D Last week I received 2 products to review from SteamCream and from HealGel! I haven't managed to start using either yet because I still have creams to finish off before opening a new one (New rule I set for myself seeing as I have a never ending amount of creams sitting in my shelf!) But I thought I'd do a "first impression/packaging" review while we wait. :)

First up... Steam Cream
Here's some background info!!
"Freshly handmade using high-quality, natural ingredients that are fused together by a shot of steam. This unique method makes the cream very lightweight, providing long-lasting hydration for the face. The texture also makes it a perfect nourishing treat for your body and hands too.

STEAMCREAM is handmade in the UK and Japan with fresh, traceable ingredients. It’s super-moisturising, sinks deep down instantly and revives your skin straight away. It makes your skin simply the best it can be, naturally."

It came in the post nicely packed and in this cute little orange cardboard box with a nice message from the Steam Cream team. :)

The second I opened the box I was in awe at how beautiful it is! The artwork on it is so unique and it really is a one of a kind product. I'd have bought the tin if I saw it in the shops so the cream inside it is like a bonus! hehehe.

This tin of SteamCream I received is called Hoàn Kiêm and it's a new but limited edition tin.
Here's the info I was sent about Hoàn Kiêm:

STEAMCREAM's latest collaboration is with talented Japanese poet, designer and embroidery artist Mako Kikkawa. Mako Kikkawa was inspired by the majestic Hoàn Kiêm Lake in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, and this design was carefully embroidered by hand and transformed into a beautiful tin.

The Hoàn Kiêm Lake is both the historical centre of Hanoi and a focal point for public life. Water is just as important to this scenic lake as it is to the production of STEAMCREAM. Using pure water, heated under a pressure greater than 100°C, a shot of steam powerful enough to fuse the natural ingredients is harnessed, forming STEAMCREAM's smooth, light texture.

The steam process is not only how STEAMCREAM got its name, but is what makes it such a unique and effective moisturiser. Many creams on the market use complex molecules to bind their ingredients, which gives them a heavy emulsion that sits on the surface of the skin and only moisturises the outer layer. Because STEAMCREAM is so light and loosely bound it penetrates into your skin leaving it smooth, supple and flexible for longer, and without all the nasty chemicals STEAMCREAM is able to invest in top-quality raw materials like orange flower water, almond and jojoba oils, and rose absolute.

The tin is about 7cm diameter and 3cm height, so it's nice size. What's great about this is that when you're finished using the cream you can use the tin as storage. It can even act as a decor in your room it's that pretty!

The thing I like about SteamCream is that you can use it for your face as well as body and hands, and also not to mention that the cream is handmade using natural ingredients!

This would make a perfect gift for people any body! SteamCream tins come in many designs suitable for men and women from every age group. Any one at the receiving end of this would most definitely have no complaints and I am almost certain will love this product. Love at first sight perhaps? It's quirky, different and one of a kind, what's not to love? This one they've sent me is one of their limited edition tins, so if you are looking to get one for yourself, I'd recommend you do it sooner than later!

I have never heard of either products before the lovely Rosie sent me an email asking if I would like to sample and review these products. I was intrigued and gratefully accepted and I'm so glad I did. These products, even though I have yet to try the out, have given me a very positive first impression. So much so that I can't wait to use them!

Stay in tune as I shall give a full review of the both products in a couple of weeks!

Have anyone else tried these products yet?? What do you think?

[Review] Wet n' Wild Eye Palette (Walking on Eggshells)

So I want to do a quick review for you today! It's Wet n' Wild's eye shadow palette in Walking on Eggshells. This is my "go-to" eye shadow palette when I am in a rush or doing a very natural look! The colours are beautiful and pigmented which gives it a very nice natural finish! I'd wear this to work some days and the girls would ask if I am wearing make up at all! Like how some say "my lip colour but better" I would say "my eyelid colour but better" if that even makes sense!

As you can see in my photos, the eye palette comes in 3 colours (t-b: cream, brown, nude pink)

The great thing is they tell you where each colour goes, so you don't have to put much thought in where you will apply the colours! Though if you are adventurous, you can experiment using the colours are various places, for example, the browbone shade can be used as a highlighter as well so you could apply some of that on the upper cheek bones and down the middle of your nose if you wanted! (I didn't do it here but that's just a suggestion!)

As you can see the makeup on my eyes are extremely neutral and natural looking! The brown isn't dark at all, so it just about creates a faint shadow where the crease of my eyelids would be!

Would you recommend this product?

All in all, I would definitely recommend this palette as I think it's perfect for those who love the natural look and it's also very easy to apply and use!
Oh and did I mention it's extremely affordable too?! Depending on where you get it, it's under the $5 budget! For me I got it for €3 on Adverts.ie! (if you live in Ireland, I'd recommend you check out this site for cheap bargains, though you do have to be careful of fakes.)

Have any one tried out the Wet n' Wild trio eye palettes yet? What do you think?

Hope you liked this review!

*[Review] Mr. Nutcase's personalised phone case (leather flip)

So recently I've been in contact with Mr. Nutcase who so kindly offered me a sample phone case to review. The idea behind Mr. Nutcase is very unique and something I have not seen offered by another company before. When you're on the website, you can choose to make your own phone case (from your own photos) or choose a ready-designed one from their collection. The instructions are very simple so you won't get confused (and believe me, I am the worst for getting confused when having to follow instructions!).
Note: for the leather-flip, they only do prints/pictures on the front of the case, but they are hoping to be able to get printing on the back some time in the near future.

I have chosen to create my own "leather-flip" phone case. They also have an option for plastic backs if you don't like the sound of leather phone cases.

I used a photo I had taken 3 years ago of a beautiful rose (from a bunch!) my boyfriend gave to me for our very first Valentines day together. And love is a beautiful thing so I used that as a quote for my phone case as well as the rose, and here is the final product (received in the post just now!).

The phone case is very slim and light weight! My phone just clipped in nicely to the frame shown in the above photo. The magnet used to keep the flip cover closed is very good and neat (doesn't jam it so tight that you're yanking the strap off everytime!) Like it says.. it's a flip phone cover and flip it does! :)

The package also came with a nice little note from Mr.Nutcase which I thought was rather cute because you never really get them with other purchases you make online.

SO overall, I am delighted with the phone case. The picture turned out so professional, the leather is soft and there's no real complaint I can make with this. All in all, it is a great product at an affordable price (price varies with phone type) and a wonderful gift idea.

Would you recommend this product? Yes I would!

Lots of love,

[Review] N.Y.C Long-Wearing Nail Enamel (130A Classic Coral Creme)

So I found this in my drawer and thought I'd try it out and write a review while I was at it!

So to start off, this nail polish is more a beautiful metallic baby pink colour than a coral (with would have an orange tone to it). There's some tiny silver sparkles in it to give the shiny, metallic effect.

None the less, it is a beautiful girly colour and I think it would be a beautiful colour to paint your nails for a Valentines date! NYC is an affordable brand too! Also I think it would suit every skin colour!!

Application of this polish is very easy! It's very fluid (watery) so comes out very sheer (see through) on your nails but applies smoothly!

TIP: If you want full coverage, I would recommend you paint your nails WHITE first (one layer will do), let it dry completely, then apply 2 layers of this polish on! If you love pink you will love this colour!

With regards to Long-Wearing, I've had this on for about 2 days now and the tips are starting to wear a little, so I would need to reapply if I want it to look perfect!

Happy Sunday!!

Valentines Ball? Prom? Debs?? Fanny Crown has got you covered!! (read on for discount!!)

Hello bloggers (especially to the female bloggers!),

I don't know if it's just in Ireland, but when you're in University, some clubs and societies will organize a "Valentine's Ball" come valentines day! I know this is the case with Trinity College Dublin (the uni I studied in) and girls would get really dressed up and wear these beautiful dresses and the guys would wear suits/tuxedos! Very professional!

This post will be about beautiful dresses you can wear to these balls, proms, debs etc as I'm sure some of you bloggers will be attending one or a few of these very soon, or sometime in this year which means you'll be looking at dresses either ways!

So, I recently discovered this beautiful website "Fanny Crown" (check the link out and you'll be dazzled!) and I am absolutely blown away by all the beautiful dresses they have on offer!! Fanny Crown dresses are all unique and stylish, and there is definitely at least one dress in their collections to suit everyone (I say at least one, but I really mean LOTS!) Some of their dresses can be tailor made and the best thing I think they offer is the range of colours for each dress they have, because I often find that I see a dress I like, but they don't have it in the colour I would wear (Darnit!).

I have literally gone through their WHOLE collection and I've picked out these few dresses as my personal favourites! There's just too many to choose from I can't decide on a single dress! I'm sure you'll have the same issue when you check out the site (Oh I would buy everything if I could!)

SO here we go.... *drum rolls*

1. You can find this dress here. You may think "Oh this is so simple.. Pfffft".. well "pfffft" to you because the fact that this dress is simple, yet elegant, means that you can wear it out to a dinner, date, shopping, etc, so you can actually get many wears for this dress!! You can dress is up (for eg, if you are going to a Ball) by wearing elegant jewellery such as crystal earrings and necklaces such as these:

Bling me

2. Dress Number 2 can be found here! For those of you who do not like wearing long dresses, this one I think is so beautiful! There is still some length to the dress from the back of the dress, but short at the front, and I think dresses with a tail at the back really makes your leg look longer (especially if you wear heels with it!) The dress style is just so elegant and perfect for any special occassion! Best part is you can wear it over and over again! The sweetheart cut softens the chest area and makes the dress look super sexy on and accentuate curves (mmm... sexy curves!) I would, again, match this with crystal jewellery or anything that is simple and sparkly with this dress, but you don't want to overdo the sparkles because the top part of the dress is very sparkly as it is! Don't want to blind anyone! hehehe.

3. Dress number 3 can be found here! I love sweet heart cut dresses because it just adds to the elegant-ness (is that a word??) of the wearer. I find that with dresses that cuts straight across can make your shoulders look broader, so the curves in the sweet heart cut, again, just gives it a softer touch.. (can't you tell I just love sweetheart cut dresses?)
I couldn't leave this dress out because it's just so simple, yet so beautiful. There's a sense of expensive style to it, even though there are barely any sparkles and I think the black belt look really adds to the dress, gives the idea of a smaller waist because black colour makes things look smaller so when it's against a light material, it works. :) Any jewellery would work with this, you can go very sparkly or keep is simple, because the dress is simple, it won't look overdone.
This dress would be wonderful for a ball, prom or a fancy dinner party!

The next two have got to be my favourite dresses of the lot... I think!

4. Dress number 4 can be found heeeeeere! Sweeeet heaaaart coooooot! Hahaha. What can I say about this dress apart from "OMG JUST LOOK AT IT!" Everything about it is just so elegant and high class! I love this colour and find the dress full of style! I just could not NOT write about it! It's a flowy dress so if you eat too much, no one will notice! This dress is perfect for proms, debutants ball, Valentines ball, any ball, weddings, whenever you want to wear it really! Sure I'd wear it to sleep if I could! hehe
Again, I'd personally keep the jewellery minimal on this because the bust area is very sparkly so you can even do without any necklaces and wear very sparkly earrings to make up for it! :)

Now the next dress.. WOW... Get your eyes ready!

5. I got to say, I think this dress is probably the winner for me.. Probably! Oh indecisive me can't really pick, but when I saw this dress here I was transfixed by the beautiful and unique style of this dress! Don't you agree?! The back of the dress is what I found so sexy! I love dresses with exposed backs because it really adds to the sexiness of the dress (you can expose as much back as you want, but there's only so much boob you can expose before it becomes branded as "slutty"!) And what's great about this is that they have SO many colour choices for you to choose from! It might be a bit chilly, so you could pair this with a nice bolero jacket or a nice wrap! Or if you have a man, get him to keep you warm! Who wouldn't if you wear this sexy dress! I'm a girl and I'd keep you warm! Haha.

Now that I've shown you the dresses you could wear to upcoming balls, proms, debs etc, I might as well show you what make up I think would look best with these dresses!

beautiful blue nude

Right, so for all the dresses (especially the full length dress) I would keep the makeup simple, mainly nude, but you can exaggerate the eye make up to add a bit of "umph" (as in sexiness)! The last thing you want is to overdo anything! If you are wearing sparkles everywhere, nude lips with sexy eye make up (refer to above picture) can really add sexiness and elegance to your face. (you don't have to use blue eye makeup, you can use the colour that is of your dress or gold or bronze sparkle dust can be very pretty!)
For the hair, I think if the dress is strapless, having your hair in an up-do and showing your shoulders off can be super sexy (everything is about sexiness, right?) But up-do's add elegance I feel and with a full length dress, it'll just look stunning!
Nails, I would do something like this with glitter tips. My next post will be a tutorial on how to do these nails! :)

sexy red

I've selected these mainly for the short dress number 2 because it's simple and white! Any dress that is white you can pretty much do whatever you want with the make up as there won't be clash with colours! So for those of you who love strong makeup (make a statement with those beautiful deep red lips!) this make up and hair style will really make your face stand out of the crowd! Now a tip is don't wear too much sparkle jewellery with this makeup because it will take away from the face and can make it look a overdone! With this makeup, I'd wear simple studs and maybe a simple necklace!
If you've read a few of my blogs, you will know I'm a very simple person! Keep it simple, you can't go wrong! hehe.

And I know you guys are probably broke after Christmas and New Years, so to help you out, Fanny Crown is giving ALL my readers a lil helping hand by giving you guys a super 15% off everything on their site!!

Simple Must Haves #1

Hello hello!

So I have decided to start a series of posts called "Simple Must Haves" which will pretty much be things that I use and simply must have. Just little things I want to share with you all.

Today I will do my first Simple Must Haves: Long Necklaces.

So what's so good about long necklaces? Personally, I simply love the way they look. They definitely add to an outfit and can definitely decorate a plain boring top into something smart/casual. Because they are long, they add some length into your body shape (depending on the type of long necklace you have).

If you are dressing in plain clothes, jeans and a plain top, add a long necklace and it will spice up your outfit, I almost 100% guarantee that. I have other long necklaces, but the two shown in this post are the ones I'd grab for most often when I am going out or just meeting friends. As you can see they are not sparkly or anything super fancy, but I love how they look as part of an outfit. I don't know how many times I've probably said that but I do think they looks super! So I am sorry for repetition! Ahhhh...

As you can see they tell the time as well as function as a necklace! Handy for when you are too lazy to whip out your phone to check the time! Unfortunately, the batteries have run out (lazy to get them changed) but I still wear them because they are beautiful even just as a necklace.

So there you have it, my simple must haves #1!

Do any of you guys wear long necklaces??
